When
do the options you alert on expire?
Are they LEAP options?
ReturnAlert primarily sends alerts for
the near-term and following month options.
As the next option expiration date approaches,
the value that the market is willing
to pay for call options starts to drop
dramatically. A few years ago we saw
that drop point typically happen around
two to three weeks out from the expiration
date. Now, that drop point tends to
be at three to four weeks from expiration
date. What has happened since that time
is a bit more of a cautious approach
has spread through the options market.
Few investors are willing to pay high
values for options that are set to expire
in only a few weeks.
Writecall's alerted options are not
LEAP options. |
